James Green

James is principle investigator and Work Package lead for the behaviour change intervention. James is a Senior Lecturer in Health Psychology in the School of Allied Health, and a core member of the Physical Activity for Health Research Cluster, Health Research Insitute. He grew up in a small, very flat town in New Zealand, and biked everywhere. He then worked in a very hilly town, and eventually started biking to work. When he moved to Ireland, he bought an ebike, and has been enthused ever since.

Catherine is Professsor of Physical Activity for Health in Physical Education and Sport Sciences, Cluster Lead for the Physical Activity for Health Research Cluster, and WP lead for behaviour change work packages.

Louise Foley

Dr Louise Foley is a Postdoctoral Researcher on the ISCycle project at University of Limerick. Louise completed her PhD at the School of Psychology, National University of Ireland Galway in 2022 researching medication taking behaviours among people living with multiple chronic conditions, as part of a Health Research Board Collaborative Doctoral Award and the SPHeRE PhD Programme. With a background in health psychology, Louise is interested in understanding and supporting people to change their health-related behaviours. At ISCycle this includes researching active travel behaviours to promote more regular and inclusive use of sustainable transport modes such as electric bicycles.
